We are happy to announce that on Tuesday the 7th of February 2023 from 15.30 -17.00 Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam organizes an English spoken tax information session. The goal of the information session is to provide you with a general understanding of the Dutch tax system and with the basic knowledge to file your tax return.

The information session is provided by Aame Tax Advice, who are specialized in helping expats in the Netherlands. Besides the presentation, there will be also time to ask questions to the tax advisors.

Subjects of the Tax workshop

1. Dutch income tax procedure and some other subjects:

        Filing deadline, fiscal partner, advantages of 30%-ruling and your tax return, tax credits

2. Short introduction of Dutch tax system:

        Box-system (income, rates), tax deductible costs, taxation of savings

3. Filing of a tax return in the Netherlands:

        Tax form (M-form), residency/working state

4. When do you need to file a Dutch income tax form?

        Tax obligations, refund entitlements
