About the workshop Succesful job searching with a disability

If you’re studying with a disability like neurodivergence, chronical illness or a physical disability, it might be challenging to get a job. We would like to inform you about the available support to get and keep a job that suits you. This workshop offers you practical insights and tools for the next steps in your career, if you’re going to work with a disability. The workshop is given by the VU HR expertise point Working with a Disability & the Infopoint Studying with a Disability.

What to expect.

• Job search: finding inclusive employers and possible support from agencies.
• Applying for a job: present yourself on your qualities and what you need.
• Support from agencies: Receive information on what help and resources are available to you.

VU Career Skills Day
The VU Career Day is made possible through the collaboration of the Career Services of all VU Faculties. During your studies, you can contact VU Career Services with all your questions about your future career. Faculties will help you with all kinds of questions and offer career advice, workshops and training courses in preparation for applying for jobs and the job market. VU Career Services also has a test portal with various assessment and personality tests.
