Citing with EndNote using subject databases, reference software, module 2 In-Person

The difficulty of citing is not in EndNote but in the databases. This module helps you to work with search engine from your academic discipline. Create a database and export your citations properly into Word working from your own academic discipline. This interactive workshop provides you with the tools and knowledge you need to work with reference software EndNote. You get a manual with step-by-step explanations
Experienced users can attend the advanced workshop module 3 for more in-depth tricks & tools.

You’ll learn to:

  • create a personal bibliographic reference database;
  • import literature references from more specific databases from your academic field. like PubMed or PsycInfo 
  • link full-text articles to your imported references;
  • deal with duplicate records;
  • use references properly in your paper

Workshop requirements
To take part in this 1 hour workshop, it is required to have EndNote already installed on your laptop. Contact the IT service desk

For practice in general search engines like Web of Science, Scopus and Libsearch, please enroll to Module 1
For tips and tricks with EndNote, please enroll to module 3

Certificate
Do you want to earn an Edubadge (online certificate)? In order to obtain this edubadge, the participant is required to fully and actively participate in the workshop and has shown to understand EndNote and can work independently with the program.
